Art Club Monthly boxes contain real art materials and tools. A few simple habits keep painting safe and fun. By purchasing or using a box, you agree to the guidelines and terms below.

Adult supervision for Kids boxes

Kids boxes are designed for ages 5 to 12 and must be used with adult supervision. Some items contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3.

Read every label

Use each product as its manufacturer directs. To reduce waste, some supplies are repackaged into smaller containers. Each container is labeled with the product name, and your monthly guide lists every product in your box. Manufacturer safety information is available for any product on request.

Oil paints, mediums and gilding supplies

Teens & Adults boxes may include oil paints, painting mediums, adhesives and sealers.

• Work in a well ventilated area, away from heat, sparks and open flame.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while painting.
• Rags or paper towels soaked with oil paint or medium can heat up and catch fire on their own. Lay them flat to dry outdoors, or place them in a sealed metal container filled with water before throwing them away.
• Close all containers tightly after use.

General precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Wash hands after use.
• Stop using any product that causes skin irritation or discomfort.
• Handle brushes, tools and canvas edges with care.
• Keep all supplies out of reach of young children and pets.

Allergies and sensitivities

If you or your child has allergies or skin sensitivities, check product ingredients before use. Email us with any questions before opening a product and we will send you the manufacturer information.

Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

You use all materials and tools at your own risk and are responsible for supervising minors who use them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Art Club Monthly and its owners are not liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction or property damage arising from the use or misuse of products or tools included in any box. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the box in question. These guidelines are part of our Terms.
